Incipit ( ): check the viewer3ra በስመ፡ʼʼ… ድርሳን፡ ዘደረሰ፤ አባ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ዘስሩግ፡ በእንተ፡ ዕበያ፡ ለሰንበተ፡ ክርስቲያን። ጸሎታ፡ ወበረከታ፤ የሃሉ፡ ምስለ፡ ገብሩ፤ [vac.] ለዓ፡ ዓ፤ ወምስለ፡ ኵልነ፡ ስማዕያነ፡ ወድሶታ፡ ለሰንበተ፡ ክርስቲያን፡ ለዓለመ፤ ዓለም፤ አሜን፨ ስምዑ፡ ኦፍቁራ|ንየ፡ ውሉደ፡ ቤተ፡ ክርስቲያን… In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. (This is) the homily which ʾabbā Jaqob of Serug composed on the greatness of the Sabbath of Christians. Condition
The leaher cover on the spine and back cover is missing; the sewing is damaged, crudely repared with modern threads. Many leaves are damaged by rodents (esp. check the viewer18r-25v ). Stains on the bottom corner of some leaves making some parts of the text difficult to read (esp. check the viewer5v-10v , 13r-15r). Cut carefully amended on check the viewer11 . Hole on check the viewer13 .

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown leather (to the most part torn off). Two pairs of sewing stations.
