"O my Lady, Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord, Jesus Christ the Almighty ..." (check the viewer11v ) (cp. ChRep ncheck the viewer373 ) - salām laki ʾo-ʾǝgzǝʾtǝyä qǝddǝst dǝngǝl Māryām ʾǝmma madḫǝn wa-ʾǝmma bǝrhān ... "Salutation to you, o my Lady, Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of the Saviour and Mother of the Light ..." The Crucifixion of Jesus miniature features the Dead Jesus . The Jesus Christ is fastened by three nails to the Cross, wears a loincloth, has a rayed , and has blood spurting from multiple wounds, trickling down towards the skull of Adam . The Virgin Mary , to the left, and John , to the right witness the scene. Both have tears flowing down their cheeks, the former performs a and has a simple band the latter a gesture of prayer and has no halo. The background is divided into two areas. The sky above, occupies about 1/3 of the space and features clouds, stars, and the . The lower portion does not feature any elements. The miniature is inserted in a triple band frame decorated with small triple dots at its upper and lower left corners.
