The names Walatta Śǝllāse and Kǝbra/Kǝbrǝna ʾAb are mentioned in the supplication formulas throughout the Ms. Addition 1 states that the book was bought with “the money of the church” and was commissioned “by four children of Habta Ṣǝyon”.

( gez ) ዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ዘቅዱስ፡ ሚካኤል፡ ዘቀርን፡ ሰበር፡ ዘተሣየጥዋ፡ በንዋየ፡ ቤተክርስቲያን፡ ወስዩመ፡ ሀገር፡ ወልደ፡ ሚካኤል። ወቄስ፡ ገበዙ፡ ክብረ፡ አብ፡ ዘአጽሐፍወ[sic]፡ ፬ደቂቀ፡ ሀብተ፡ ጽዮን። ዘሠረቆ፡ ወዘፈሐቆ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ውጉዘ፡ ለይኩን፡ በሥልጣነ፡ ጴጥሮስ፡ ወጳውሎስ። ወዓዲ፡ በቃለ፡ ፫፻፲ወ፰ርቱዓነ፡ ሃይማኖት፡ ለዓለመ፡ ዓለም፡ አሜን፡ ወአሜን፡ ለይኩን፡ ለይኩን።

Condition
Many fols. are heavily stained with wax and dirt. The leather cover is slightly damaged at the spine. The Ms. has been resewn with recent threads. A cut repaired on check the viewer115 .
Binding
Two wooden boards covered with two layer of reddish-brown tooled leather; paper inlays (foreign paper prints with devotional images, St Michael and St Mary with Child). Two pairs of sewing stations.
