- - Beginning of a recent purchase note, crudely written on : ዝመጽሐፈ፡ ቅዳሴ፡ ዘቅዱስ፡ ሚካኤል፡ ዘተሳየጥዎ፡ በ፶ብር፡ “This is a Missal of (the church of) St Michael, which was bought for 50 Bǝrr”. Crude notes in green ink (possibly a continuation of the purchase note) are added beside. Both texts are written upside down. - A piece of parchment is sewn to fol. 3 (in the upper part) containing on both sides the expected text. The following folios (fols. 4-10) have triangular pieces of parchment sewn to their inner upper edges, containing the needed text.
