The spine cover has beenseverely damaged. check the viewer39 has been enlarged by sewing a strip of parchment onto it. The same strip is partly visible also on check the viewer36 . Cuts amended on check the viewer12 , 23, 34, 45, 47, 55, 81.

Binding decoration
Two pairs of chains of the endband stitches at the spine cover. Small holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the tail of the codex.
