Incipit ( ):
Explicit ( ):
Within Text I, the constituent texts are placed in the following sequence: I-a) Ṣälotä kidān za-śalastu gizeyāt “Covenant Prayer of the Three Hours” (check the viewer5ra-8ra ); I-b) Mastabqʷǝʿ “Supplications” (check the viewer8ra-13rb ); I-c) Za-yǝnaggǝś za-Yāred (check the viewer13rb-21ra ); I-d) Ṣälot lāʿla nǝwāyāt ḥaddisat “Prayer over the Sacred Vessels” (check the viewer21ra-22rb ). In the heading of text III-6, St Athanasius is called “a brother of Gregory” (most probably, this epithet was mistakenly transferred here from the Anaphora of St Basil). Parts of the text are written in compressed script (s. check the viewer79rb , 134vb, etc.). This was evidently done to fit the text into the space provided by a specific folio. Text III-14 is written in smaller, thinner and finer letters than the rest of the texts.
