All fols. are slightly damaged by rodents at the bottom corners. ff. 1, 3 and 156 are of irregular, smaller size. check the viewer45 is cut at the top. The leather cover of the front board is slightly damaged (a rectangular piece is torn off).

Fine and careful, by a well-trained hand. The handwriting is very regular, neat and uniform, characterized by finely shaped, slender and upright letters. Some distinctive features: - the letter ለ in the 1st order has the right leg more curved than the left one; - the letter መ in the 1st and 2nd order has the left loop resting on the ruled line, bigger than the right one; - x-cross with dashes is used a few times, e.g., check the viewer57vb l.13.
