check the viewer130ra : በቄስ፡ ገብረ፡ ሩፋኤል፡ ግብዝና፡ በአለቃ፡ ወልደ(?)፡ ማርያም፡ ተቋጣርነት፡ ለውቅሮ፡ ማርያም፡ መዝሙር፡ ሲገዙ፡ ከሙሉ፡ ጌታ፡ ልመንህ፡ አማኞቹ፡ አለቃ፡ ደበሰ፡ ገብረ፡ ስላሴ፡ ቄስ፡ ደስታ፡ ገብረ፡ ማርያም፡ ዓባይ፡ እኒህ፡ ናቸው፡ በዚህ፡ ቃል፡ ዘገየ፡ ኃይለ፡ ሥላሴ፡ ይሙት፡ ብለው፡ ተፈራርመዋል ኀዳር፡ ፳፪፡ ቀን The note is written in Amharic, in a poor hand. It states that qes gäbez Gabra Rufāʾel and ʾalaqā Walda(?) Māryām bought the Ms. from Mulugeta Lǝmmänh for the church of Wǝqro Māryām. Then, the names of the witnesses, the traditional oath (in which King Ḫayle Śǝllāse I is mentioned) and the date (22nd of Ḫǝdār) follow. Below the note, there are fingerprints of priest Gabra Rufāʾel and Mulugeta Lǝmmänh.

Condition
The back board is split in two places; one split has been repaired. The sewing is damaged at the 1st and 2nd stations. check the viewer129 is damaged, with a loss of text. Rubricated words and phrases are sometimes hardly legible or illegible due to faded ink. Holes are carefully amended on fols. 8, 9, 45, 50, 64, 69, 95, 109, 110.

Two wooden boards (the back board is split in two places; one spilt has been repaired). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes are visible on the spine folds of the quires, one close to the head and one close to the tail of the codex.
