The writing was completed in the year of Matthew the Evangelist and during the governorship of rās Sǝbḥāt (ʾAragāwi, governor of Tǝgray with the title of rās in the years 1892-95 and 1908-14). Subsequently, the names of Takla Hāymānot’s family members are given: his wife Walatta Kidān, his children Walda Yoḥannǝs, Gabra ʾAragāwi, ʾAmata Giyorgis and Walatta Yoḥannǝs.

The Ms. has been resewn. Bifolio 53-54 is misplaced. Originally it belonged to quire VIII where the sequence of fols. was as follows: 53, 55-58, 54. Some fols. are stained with wax and water. Holes are carefully amended in fols. 2, 61, 70, 71, 78, 91.
