check the viewer4r : ፲፱፴፬፡ ዓመተ፡ ምሕረት፡ ሐምሌ፡ ፴ቀን፡ እኔ፡ አለቃ፡ ገብረ፡ ማርያም፡ ወልደ፡ ሥላሴ፡ መዝሙር፡ በ፵፭፡ ስጨ፡ አሎኍ፡ ለቀኘዝማች፡ የዕብዩ፡ ተስፋ፡ ሚካኤል፡ ኃይለ፡ ሥላሴ፡ ይሙት፡ ብሩም፡ ፵፭፡ ደረሰኝ፡ እኔ፡ አለቃ፡ ገብረ፡ ማርያም፡ … The note is written in Amharic and is dated 30 Ḥamle 1934 year of Mercy (= 6th August 1942). It states that ʾalaqā Gabra Māryām Walda Śǝllāse sold this book to qäññazmač Yäʿbǝyyo Tasfā Mikāʾel for 45 birr. It also mentions ʾalaqā Kahǝsay ʾAbrǝha as guarantor of the book. The fingerprints of the seller, the buyer and the guarantor are placed at the end of the note. -

Condition
The Ms. is slightly stained with water, especially in the upper margin. Text in red ink is partly illegible (e.g., check the viewer5ra- b, 13vb, 25ra, 38ra). The front board is broken and has been repaired with three strips of metal. Remains of glue on the boards indicate that the cover has been removed. Tears amended on some leaves: e.g., fols. 1, 12, 32, 39, 46.

Two wooden boards (the front board broken and repaired). Two pairs of sewing stations.

Small holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and to the tail of the codex.
