The leather cover is torn off from the spine area, along the left edge of the front board and along the right edge of the right board.

Two wooden boards covered with reddish-brown tooled leather. Two pairs of sewing stations.

Remains of the endbands, small holes are visible on the spine fold of the quires, close to the head and the tail of the codex.
