Original Location: Dabra Dāmmo ʾAbuna ʾAragāwi↗
According to the colophon, the book was written in the 15th year of the reign of King ʾIyoʾas I (r. 1755-69). The writing of the Ms. is dated to 7247 year of the world (= 1755 A.D.), 321 year of mercy (= 1745/46 A.D.). The dates only roughly correspond to each other.Provenance
According to the colophon, the Ms. originally belonged to Walda Yoḥannǝs. Then, at some point, it belonged to ? Gabra Ṣǝsama (?) of Dabra Dāmmo (s. Additio 2) and to yäneta Gabra ʾƎgziʾabǝḥer of Dabra Dāmmo (s. Additiones 3 and 4). According to Additio 1, the Ms. was donated by priest Takla Wald Ṣaggāy of Dabra Dāmmo.

The back board is broken and repaired. The cover of the front board is damaged. Holes are carefully amended on fols. 9, 13, 44, 48, 53, 55, 94, 97, 99, 106, 155, 158, 160, 166, 176, 180, 189, 195.

Two wooden boards (the back board is broken and repaired) covered with brown untooled leather (half cover). Two pairs of sewing stations.
Binding decoration
