ተጽሕፈ፡ በ፲፱፻፵ወ፬ዓ፡ ም፡ በ፫መስከረም፡ ዝመጽሐፍ፡ ዘተክለ፡ ሃይማኖት፡ እምነቱ፡ ዘወሀቦ፡ ለደብረ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ ሀገሩ፡ አንበሰት፡ ፍቃዳ፡ እዛ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ንዕሽቶይ፡ ኮይና፡ ከይትረአየኩም፡ ዓባይ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ እያ፡ እሞ፡ አብ፡ ብራና፡ ከምቶውርሱዋ፡ ግበሩ።
Translation : ሐደራኹም፡ እብለኩም፡ አነ፡ ቀ፡ ወልደ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ጸሐፊኡ፡
The colophon is written in Gǝʿǝz and Tǝgrǝñña. It states that the Ms. was finished on 3 Maskaram 1944 year of mercy (= 1 September 1951), his owner Takla Hāymānot owner donated it to Dabra Libānos of ʾAnbasat Fǝqādā and that the scribe is the priest role: function (qasis , abbreviated qa) Walda Tǝnśāʾe scribe ; the scribe also requests that the book be copied on parchment.
