Binding
Parchment, three Coptic chain stitches attached with bridle attachments to rough-hewn boards. Inside the back cover, a portion of the wood has been scraped lower than the rest, forming an area 70 x 60 mm. It looks to have held a mirror at some time though now all that appears to remain is the residue of old glue.
